Wife, mother, & serial entrepreneur, I’ve strived to better myself and the lives of those around me.  After 14 years in the medical field as a Medical Secretary/Transcriptionist/Editor, I decided to branch out and follow a passion of mine – gift baskets.  I ran a successful gift basket & party favor business for several years (I was even rated one of the Top 100 Gift Basket companies in the US for 2007 by a leading trade magazine), all the while learning how to market my award-winning website by link building, article & blog marketing, and providing relevant and high-quality content.  However, I failed to utilize a key ingredient to being online:  Social Media.  I thought it to be a fad or something only “kids” did.  How wrong I was!  While my failure to utilize social media was not the main cause of my company’s demise, it certainly did not help that I neglected to use a most simple, effective, & necessary tool in my marketing toolbox.

After getting over the disappointment of having to shut the doors on my gift basket business, I slowly came to realize that I had a talent for writing, blogging, and the marketing of websites.  I came to realize exactly HOW powerful social media can be if leveraged correctly, and how much damage it can do if not done right.  I came to find that I had a different passion, and now I’m here to teach you how to leverage some of the most powerful tools on the internet.
